Musk Says Car Didn’t Have Autopilot When It Crashed and Killed Two In Texas

Elon Crash

After what has been a horrendous day of news regarding the two fatalities in a car crash in Texas, Elon Musk has put the record straight. The car in question did not have autopilot and neither did it have lane assist.

It had been reported all of yesterday that the two drivers crashed due to a failure in the auto pilot that the driver had enabled while not sitting at the wheel of the car. This caused a lot of concern by investors and caused shares in Tesla to fall by 4.5% in the first few hours of trading but have since recovered.

Once again we see over the top headlines create drama for page clicks. The story was neve genuine.
